This was the album that put me on to the Clipse. Grindin dropped when I was in the 7th grade and had everybody in the lunchroom wildin out to that infectious beat. I was sold on that single alone. This was around the same time comp's were coming equipped with cd burners and this kid in my class was selling Lord Willin' and Joe Budden's first LP. I copped both. Joey's first album is pretty dope too. Y'all should check it out if you haven't already. The Clipse are HIGHLY slept on. Pusha's flow is demonic and Malice's lyrics are on par with your favorite mcs. The two have coke metaphors for years as well lol. The features on this album were fucking epic too. Take out the unnecessary Grindin Remixes and Ma, I Don't Love Her and you can bump the album from front to back. Sidenote: I'm not you is probably the dopest track on the album, Styles, Jada and Roscoe come through and crush it too. I wanted to post Cot Damn too but the video edit of that track doesn't do it any justice. Checkout the album.
